Tribal Gathering
Hippie Beach, Colón, Panama
tickets on sale $200–350
Tribal Gathering is an 18-day beach festival on Panama’s Caribbean coast that puts Indigenous cultures and electronic and world music on one shore.
It takes place at Hippie Beach in Colón, about three hours from Panama City, a flat, grassy beach lined with coconut palms and banana plants. Its Tribal Village expects over 150 Indigenous people from around 40 tribes, sharing ceremony, storytelling and workshops; the first week centres on elders, and since 2025 the second week has invited younger Indigenous leaders and artists. Five stages carry more than 180 acts, from house, techno, dub and drum and bass to a psytrance stage in the second week, and a circus stage called the Carny opens each night. Children up to 14 come free with an adult. The festival bills itself as gender-neutral, and names the charity GeoParadise as its own.
A place where Indigenous elders and a younger global crowd share ceremony, music and one beach, under the words Unity Through Diversity.
