Nibirii Festival

Nibirii is an outdoor electronic music festival on the Dürener Badesee, a lake at Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia, run by Nibirii GmbH, whose office is in Cologne.

It began in 2019, became a full weekend in 2022, added a fifth stage in 2024, and its 2026 edition ran 28–30 August. The site lists drum & bass, techno, psytrance, hard techno and trance as its sound. The grounds are sand, meadow and unpaved paths beside the lake. The tent-only campsite opens on the Thursday, the day before the stages, and has a silent disco and a central cooking area. A fireworks show is staged on the Saturday, joined by drones in 2026. Entry is 18 and over, payment is cashless by wristband, drinks come in reusable cups on a token deposit, glass is banned, and a Johanniter medical and psychosocial team is on site. Between festivals the team runs club shows in Cologne and Dortmund.
