Masters of Puppets

Masters of Puppets is an underground psychedelic music festival that has run since 2014 and now takes place in the village of Valeč, in the Karlovy Vary Region of western Bohemia.

Over seven days, three stages cover a wide electronic range: the Rage Stage for dark psy, hi-tech, psycore and experimental music, the Hybrid Stage for forest, psychedelic, tekno and acid, and the Lunática Stage by Circus Brut, which mixes circus arts, live concerts and electronic beats. Beyond the dancefloors there is an art gallery, projection mapping, and the Akademia Space with lectures and workshops on psychedelics, psychology and anthropology alongside yoga classes, plus fire performers after sunset and a market of vegan and flexitarian food and handmade goods. The festival pass includes camping. Entry is 18+ only, and a written code of conduct rules out racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism and harassment.
